JSTOR Arts & Sciences V Collection

This collection builds on previously introduced disciplines, adding important literary reviews and state historical journals. It will also widen the scope of core disciplines in the arts and humanities, such as philosophy, history, classics, religion, art and art history, and language and literature. Monumenta Germaniae Historica (eMGH)

A online database of selections of texts from all five divisions of Monumenta Germaniae Historica (Scriptores, Leges, Diplomata, Epistolae, Antiquitates).  Database is in Latin, search interfaces in English, French, German and Italian.

The Monumenta Germaniae Historica was founded in 1819 by the Gesellschaft für Deutschlands ältere Geschichtskunde. The MGH has established for all Western scholarship a standard for critical editions. The search-software allows the user to distinguish the major series, namely the Scriptores, Leges, Diplomata, Epistolae and Antiquitates. In more than 300 volumes, covering the widest possible range of historical documents, divided into five major Series (Scriptores, Leges, Diplomata, Epistolae and Antiquitates) and into 33 Subseries, the Monumenta not only continues its editorial programme but it has established for all Western scholarship a standard for critical editions. – Publisher’s blurb.
